Block, difficulty and speed

Our climbing club, affiliated to the FFME and with over 200 members, offers courses for all levels, supervised by passionate, qualified instructors. Our courses are open to children aged 5 and over, and range from beginners to competitive climbers.

We have international bouldering and speed structures, as well as a wall of difficulty reaching 20 metres. Located on the world-renowned Fontainebleau natural bouldering area, our club also aims to make children aware of their responsibilities as eco-citizens.

Objectives

Expression, development and technique :

Improve sensory perception (psychomotricity).
Develop psycho-affective aspects such as self-control and concentration.
Empowering and trusting partners: the "rope team".
Know and respect the natural environment surrounding the practice.
Learn the main safety techniques for climbing.

Sports season

Courses run from September (resumption on 09) to June (end of course on 21), excluding zone C school vacations and public holidays.
Groups of 12 children maximum (8 for U7 and U8).

Hardware

To be purchased before the All Saints' vacation.
Climbing shoes (mandatory except U7/U8).
Chalk and chalk bag (recommended).
Harness (recommended after one year's practice).

Access conditions

Conditions of access :

- From age 5

- A responsible adult must be present for U7 and U9 classes.

- Personal climbing shoes compulsory (a group order will be organized by the club before the All Saints' vacation).

- Bring sportswear, a water bottle and warm clothing (hat, down jacket, etc.) for classes, which can be held outdoors even in winter!
