Employer description L'Île de Loisirs de Buthiers is recruiting! For the 2024 season, offering fixed-term contracts of between 3 and 6 months. For a permanent position, on a fixed-term contract of at least 1 year.
Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory provisions relating to national education and the DDCS
Supervise groups and individuals in activities on the Île de Loisirs: physical and sports activities, recreational and cultural activities.
Maintain Île de Loisirs structures and equipment
Promote and develop Île de Loisirs products and services
Brevet professionnel de la jeunesse, de l'éducation populaire et du sport (BP JEPS): Physical activities for all - Level IV Category B
Brevet professionnel de la jeunesse, de l'éducation populaire et du sport (BP JEPS): Fitness activities - Level IV Category B
Tennis State Certificate
Initiateur Escalade SNE/SAE - CQP climbing instructor
STAPS
Activity 1: Develop and implement Physical Education and Sports projects for school groups and leisure centers.
Activity 2: Organize and supervise all types of sports activities, with some exceptions, both in and out of school.
Activity 3 : Welcome and inform all types of audiences (teachers, local educators, sports leaders, educational managers, etc.) and adapt to them.
Activity 4 : Participate in the management of clubs on the Île de Loisirs de Buthiers
Activity 5: Design and develop projects for sporting events using in-house resources
Be at least 18 years old
Hold a B driver's license
Proficiency in the use of IT tools, particularly office suite software

Supervision and safety:
The lifeguard/swimmer is responsible for:
- supervising the pool in compliance with the SOP and according to the work schedule.
- managing the first-aid station (daily control of first-aid equipment, maintenance of premises).
- coordinating first-aid actions in case of need.
- Decide whether or not to evacuate and/or close the pool or facility.
- Draw up a report on any malfunction, incident or accident.
- Check that slides are working properly before opening to the public.
Hygiene and safety:
The lifeguard/swimmer is responsible for ensuring compliance with the hygiene rules applicable to users (editor's note: compliance with the POSS and internal regulations), good housekeeping of the equipment and sanitary hygiene of the pool and beaches.
Welcoming the public:
The lifeguard is responsible for welcoming and informing users.
Activity management:
The swimming instructor is responsible for managing activities (aquagym, children's and adult swimming) set up within the facility and according to a defined schedule.
